An opportunity for our family to share thoughts and memories and the recipes of Christmas with each other. We should think about our family with more love and forgiveness at Christmas time as we remember the birth of the Savior. Please feel free to post your Christmas pictures, memories and recipes. Most years we don't have the opportunity to get together and this way we can feel connected even when we are far apart.

Snowed out

This past December (2009), while we were up in Utah at John's we planned to drive up to Providence for another day at Jeff and Suzanne's house. They had just moved into a new home, and Jeff and been getting the basement ready for sheet rock. We had one last day before heading home and the kids really all wanted to get together again. When we woke that morning it was snowing, and it didn't quit. There was no way we could have made it up the canyon, so all the going home plans had to change. It was to be our last day to spend with Jeff's family and then with all that snow happening, and with Shaunika needing to be back in California for a Primary activity (she was the counselor in charge of it)the plans had an abrupt change. Shaunika and her girls and Kirt didn't get to see GG and I ended up taking the shuttle up to Twin Falls to spend some more time with my mom.
